Chinese  Pepper  SteakBrown the chicken in skillet. Put chicken

1-1/2  lbs  boneless  beef  round  steakingredients except cornstarch and water. Stir
and cover; cook on low for 8 - 10 hours. Set
1  clove  garlic,  mincedcrock pot to high and combine cornstarch and
cold water in a small bowl; stir until
1/2  tsp  saltdissolved. Stir into the crock pot liquids.
Keeping cover slightly ajar to allow steam to
1/4  tsp  pepperescape, cook until thickened, about 15 to 30
minutes. Serve over rice or with chow mein
1/4  cup  saucenoodles.
1  tbsp  hoisin  sauceSzechuan  Pork
1  tsp  sugar1-1/2  lbs  boneless  pork  chops
1  tomato,  chopped1  -  8  oz  can  bamboo  shoots,  drained
2  red or green bell peppers, cut into strips1  -  8  oz  can  water  chestnuts,  drained
3  tbsp  cornstarch6  green  onions,  chopped
3  tbsp  water1/4  cup  Worcestershire  sauce
1  cup  fresh  bean  sprouts1/4  cup  Szechuan  hot  bean  sauce
4  scallions,  finely  chopped1/4  cup  soy  sauce
First, trim fat from steak and slice into2-1/2  tbsp  minced  fresh  ginger
thin strips. Mix together steak, garlic,
salt, pepper, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and2  tbsp  rice  wine  or  dry  sherry
sugar in your crock pot. Cover and cook on
low about 8 hours. 30 minutes before cooking4  tsp  sesame  oil
time is done, set your crock pot on high. Add
tomato and bell peppers. Dissolve cornstarch4  tsp  sugar
in water in small bowl; stir into steak
mixture. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or8  cloves  garlic,  minced
until thickened. Stir in bean sprouts.
Sprinkle  with  onions.  Serve  with  rice.Trim chops of excess fat and brown on both
sides in a skillet on the stove top. Place
Chicken  Chow  Meinchops in the bottom of the crock pot and
cover with bamboo shoots, water chestnuts,
1  tbsp  oiland green onions. Combine remaining
ingredients together in a bowl and pour over
1-1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chickenvegetables. Cook on low for 8 hours or until
breasts,  cut  into  1-inch  pieceschops are tender and cooked through. Serve
hot with cooked rice.
